Six-Minute Meditations for Lent

and Easter in the Little Books

Every year the Diocese of Saginaw puts together a series of Little Books that provide daily meditations on the readings for the current liturgical cycle. These books cover the Lent and Easter seasons.

Each day during the week is spent examining the Sunday Gospel and also includes daily information about customs, traditions or the saint of the day.

For example, do you know who invented the dinner knife?  History says it was invented by Cardinal Richelieu who thought that using blunted knives would keep people from picking their teeth at the table.  Did it work?  Read the whole story on May 13, in the Little White Book.
