I was born in Oxford and baptized in a Norman church that hadn't seen a Catholic baptism since the Protestant revolution.
Ever since I was little I was fascinated by castles, Robin Hood, the Crusades, chivalry and the Middle Ages. I don't remember when I first heard about St. Thomas More but at the latest it was in fifth grade when I got to go back to England with my parents. I thought it was amazing that someone would give up all his power and his friendship to defend the Faith and eventually die for it. I was also fascinated by the similarities between More and Becket.
I eventually chose St. Thomas Becket as my confirmation saint but when we decided to open our store and my aunt suggested "Aquinas and More" as the name, I thought it was perfect.
