Catholic Summer Reading 2009 is a Go!

by Ian on May 12, 2009

For the last two years we have endeavored to get Catholics interested in reading Catholic literature during the summer. This year's books are wide range of genres that should appeal to everyone.

For the theologically inclined, we have The Angels and Their Missions, The Confessions, The End of the Present World and The Fulfillment of All Desire.

For those wanting some fiction we have Junia, The Ignatius Critical Edition of King Lear, A Postcard from the Volcano, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, Quo Vadis? and Song at the Scaffold.

If you haven't voted for the three "official" Catholic books of Summer, it's time to vote!

If you plan on discussing the books offered this summer on your blog, be sure and register your blog so we can include your posts in our feed.

We always offer study guides for the final three books.

I was looking on the sites about the children’s summer reading program, but you do not list accepted books.
