The Most Beautiful Sacramental Certificates You Have Ever Seen

We think we are now selling the Most Beautiful Catholic Sacramental Certificates in the world. Big claim, huh? Read on . . .

Since we are in the Catholic church supply business, we sell a lot of sacramental certificates to parishes around the country and across the world – especially during Lent and Easter. When we found out about the Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing of the Barton Cotton company on February 9 of this year we were, to put it mildly, very concerned. The week of February 9, when we tried to contact Barton Cotton, their voicemail message said the business was “closed due to inclement weather.” The weather was mild and in the 50′s in Baltimore that week so we knew something was wrong.

The following week we found the documents online about the bankruptcy filing and we discovered that Chapter 7 bankruptcy means “liquidation” and not simply re-organization. We knew that was bad.  Strangely enough that same week someone was actually answering the phones at Barton Cotton and they told us the company “planned to be back in business in a week or two.” The next week we found out that the bankruptcy court was behind that, due to pressure from creditors, in an attempt to stop the loss of the customer base in the event that someone might acquire the remaining assets and start up the company again. Given the online details of the financial condition of Barton Cotton, we don’t see how it can be effectively resuscitated. Their customer service and order accuracy left much to be desired and we don’t see how that obstacle can be overcome.

Not ones to sit around and wait for something to happen, we began an immediate and aggressive search to find replacements for Barton Cotton products – in particular the sacramental certificates and Mass cards. Two other small suppliers exist in the market, but we were not really happy with the product selection. In fact, we weren’t happy with the Barton Cotton selection because we thought that most of their items fell into the “ugly 1970′s liturgical art” category and if you know us, you know that we disdain that type of thing. Still, in the past we had very few supplier options.

Now the good news! We found an experienced, dynamic printer with excellent customer service and a great art director to design a line of sacramental certificates as an exclusive product line for us. This printer is high-capacity and is on a very solid financial footing, in addition to having some good Catholics on staff who know exactly what we have been looking for. We are really excited about our new partnership. The sacramental certificates are available to ship to our customers now. To view the product line, please click here. In another week we’ll have the line available in Spanish and we should have some beautiful Mass or Memorial cards available in another week or two.

Here’s a sample image from the new line:

Wow! Pretty amazing, huh? As you can see, this line is a quantum leap forward in the design of Catholic sacramental certificates. They eclipse all others available. Not only that, but each certificate is available in 70# linen paper stock, sort of like nice resume paper, and in 100#  Oxford paper stock, which is like card stock and is perfect for framing. The certificates come in boxes of 50, with 50 envelopes and, get ready for this, the price is the same as the “ugly 1970′s liturgical art” certificates from the other suppliers. Even more amazing, isn’t it?

For the icing on the cake, we are also offering samples of the new line to parishes in the U.S. and Canada. To request a sample, simply go to the certificate you’d like to see and click on the contact link. You can always call us toll-free at 866-428-2820 and one of our customer service staff can send a sample to your parish. We are only sending samples directly to Catholic parish addresses, exclusively.

Our new line of sacramental certificates can be purchased either at www.catholicchurchsupply.com or at www.aquinasandmore.com

Have a blessed Lent and Easter!
