Question About Chapel Veils

in General Catholic Ramblings

From our comment section:

I’m an adult convert and lately I have felt a great interest in wearing a veil to Mass, but I really don’t know how to begin. I’m afraid I will wear it wrong, or make some mistake. If anyone has any advice on how to get started, like where to buy, or how to make a veil, I’d love to hear from you.

If you want to buy one, you can always look at our chapel veil selection.

I’m glad someone mentioned this. I, too, am a convert and was always a bit embarrased to come right out and admit that part of what drew me to Holy Mother Church was the beauty and reverence of Catholics at prayer. Of course, there were many people and things that were evidence of God’s beauty in His love of His Bride, the Church. Of course there were many example of this love. I hope we are now repairing some of the examples of babies thrown out with the bathwater at the behest of Vatican II.
Peace and Blessings to You All!
On a more personal note, if you can’t find a veil, or one you feel comfortable with, go for hats! They, too, have become easier to find, even on the internet at http://www.hats.com. Clever, no? At any rate, showing reverence for Our Lord at the Holy Sacrifice is good.

I too am an adult convert. My husband and I have been attending the Latin Mass and are VERY happy with our church. I have been looking high and low for a chapel veil and finally found a site where you can purchase many different styles, they’re a great price too. Try

This is where I purchased my veil, you can choose between white ivory or black. I wish you God’s blessings in your journey.
