Trade Organization Response to the CPSIA

Today I wandered over to all of the trade organizations related to our industry that I know of (Catholic Marketing Network, Christian Retailing, Christian Booksellers Association, Catholic Booksellers Association) to see what they had to say about the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act. I looked at their home pages, I looked at the latest news sections, I looked at forums if they had them and used the search feature that was available.

Not one had any mention of this law. Zero. Nada. Zilch.

It's no  wonder that vendors and retailers in the Christian market are in the dark when the organizations that should be keeping an eye out for this kind of thing are completely oblivious.

This morning we sent press releases to all of them. So far we have gotten a response from the Catholic Marketing Network saying they will inform their members. None of the others have responded yet.
