Ashes to ashes
We’re carrying ashes for liturgical use now. February 6 is Ash Wednesday and it will be here before you know it! Lent starts very early in 2008. OrderĀ here to insure that your parish has ashes on hand for the Ash Wednesday Liturgy.

This is a new concept for me: buying ashes?
Do parishes not burn their (returned) Palm crosses normally?

Hi Liturgee,
More and more parishes are buying ashes these days. They don’t always burn them themselves and sometimes ashes from the previous year are missplaced for a variety of reasons. Thanks.
