What really surprised me in that story was the completely weak-kneed response from the head of the Christian trade association.
Plausible deniability - from a Christian trade association leader? Whodathunkit?

The problem is that these companies are so locked in to China because of pricing that they can’t make a change without destroying their entire product line.
