We’ve just completed the task of compiling something called “100 Essential Books for the Catholic Parish Library” here at Aquinas and More. It was quite a challenge to distill the great bounty of Catholic books down to just a core “100 Best” but we think we did a pretty good job. If your parish has a library or is interested in starting one, just download the list. Links are included for easy purchasing. We think it is a great starting point! Areas covered include Sacred Scripture, Theology, Church History, Liturgy, Sacraments, Apologetics, Spiritual Classics and Children’s books.

If you have suggestions on changes to the list, please let us know!

I am very much interested in starting a small library for my local church; St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Plaquemine, LA. I would like to see the list you have compiled to start a library. If you could please send it to the email list above, I would appreciate it. God Bless. I stumbled across your web site this morning; what a blessing; God has truly lead me in the right direction.

I am one of four ladies who started a Prison Ourtreach Ministry for St. John’s. We are very much interested in several books on your website and one of your bibles. I sent an email to customer service asking if you have a discount system in place for purchases made for Prison Ministries. If someone could please help with this information that too would be appreciated. I have a list of books and the bible we are interested in and would like to purchase within the next few weeks; once we start ordering we will be placing an order once a month. Another thing I thought of was possible having an account set up so we can pay every 30 days.

Thanks again, have a wonderful day.

Thanks very much! I am in the process of putting together a library in my parish, and this will be of great value.
