A Deacon’s Prayer

in General Catholic Ramblings

This prayer was written by one of our new permanent deacons installed a few weeks ago.

Dear Lord,

Please bless and make faithful the work of my hands. May I always stand firm in my faith, remaining courageous and strong. May my every act be done with love. May my heart not be burdened, for I find great joy in you. May I continue to be your humble servant and serve you and your people with love and compassion.

Amen

May we all take such a prayer to heart.
